She believed in Jesus, the son of our Lord, that she had sinned much, and would be forgiven much, so the more would she love Jesus and the Lord. By: Richard Warren - May 05, 2008 - Public Category: Jesus Anointed by a Sinful Woman

Show CHRIST your Love for Him.
We need to recognise our sins and ask forgiveness.
How did this woman`s broken past lead to her advantage?
a sinful person when forgiven would appreciate the gift of forgiveness more than a person who thinks he is not a sinner.the sinful person when forgiven would be willing to love more give more and act righteously more from the bottom of his/her life, because once the burden of sin is lifted from him , he would fight real hard not to slip back into that misery.and this is the power of forgiveness.but the important thing is for us to recognise that we are sinners, and ask to be forgiven sincerely By: Annie Goetcheryan - May 16, 2007 - Public Category: Jesus Anointed by a Sinful Woman

How does being forgiven increase ones love for God? Note: According to Jesus, God`s forgiveness is motivated by love.
I feel that you have to love everyone in order to feel the love of God in the full power of it. That means you should forgive those who hurt you . You might not like that person but forgiving and keeping your side clean is the way to go
Love for Enemies
You have heard that it was said, `You shall love your neighbor, and hate your enemy.` But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you, that you may be children of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the just and the unjust. For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Don`t even the tax collectors do the same? If you only greet your friends, what more do you do than others? Don`t even the tax collectors do the same? Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.

How did this woman`s broken past lead to her advantage?
This woman was a sinner. She surrendered herself before Jesus and accepted that she is a sinner. Jesus forgiven all her sin. She became a new person. As Jesus forgiven all her sin, her broken past lead to her advantage. She loved Jesus very much. By: Manoj Thomas - October 18, 2006 - Public Category: Jesus Anointed by a Sinful Woman
One of the Pharisees
invited him to eat with him. He entered into the Pharisee's house, and sat
at the table. Behold, a
woman in the city who was a sinner, when she knew that he was reclining in
the Pharisee's house, she brought an alabaster jar of ointment. Standing behind at his feet
weeping, she began to wet his feet with her tears, and she wiped them with
the hair of her head, kissed his feet, and anointed them with the
ointment. Now when the
Pharisee who had invited him saw it, he said to himself, "This man,
if he were a prophet, would have perceived who and what kind of woman this
is who touches him, that she is a sinner."
Jesus answered him,
"Simon, I have something to tell you." He said, "Teacher, say on."
"A certain lender had two debtors. The one owed five
hundred denarii, and the other fifty. When they couldn't pay, he
forgave them both. Which of them therefore will love him most?" Simon answered,
"He, I suppose, to whom he forgave the most."
He said to him, "You have judged
correctly." Turning to the woman, he said to
Simon, "Do you see this woman? I entered into your
house, and you gave me no water for my feet, but she has wet my feet with
her tears, and wiped them with the hair of her head. You gave me no kiss, but she,
since the time I came in, has not ceased to kiss my feet. You didn't anoint my head with
oil, but she has anointed my feet with ointment. Therefore I tell you, her sins,
which are many, are forgiven, for she loved much. But to whom little is
forgiven, the same loves little." He said to her, "Your sins are forgiven." Those who sat at the
table with him began to say to themselves, "Who is this who even
forgives sins?"
He said to the woman,
"Your faith has saved you. Go in peace."
